Micropigmentation to correct and cover imperfections

On 26th Feb 2014, we had a full day training with the team from Golden Eye, a German company that produce a unique Micropigmentation equipment with its unique organic dyes.

What is Micropigmentation?

Micropigmentation  is a technique of implanting tiny pigments dye into the epidermal layer of the skin. It does not aim to change the look of a person, but instead it balances out unevenness and the asymmetry of a face. Without being obvious.

Micropigmentation is long-lasting, but we wouldn’t call it is not  a make-up. In paramedical micropigmentation we aim to cover the unevenness and create a more natural appearnacre   Paramedical Micropigmentation can be done for the scalp area to cover the whole bald head or for women with diffuse or thinning hair to make the top of the head look fuller and thicker.
It is also for scars anywhere on the body especially hypopigmented scars. Striae that has become silvery white and vitiligo patches that has stopped growing and changing are all ideal for treatment with micropigmentation.

I loved the fact that it can cover all these obvious discolorations on the face and neck. Also for surgical scars that are lighter then the natural skin color, micropigmentation can help to camouflage it from the surrounding skin. For areolar and nipples, turning the color to lighter tone or pinkish tone is also possible! For those after breast reconstruction surgery, it possible to create a nipple and areolar for the patient making the breasts look so much more natural and less scarred.

Our enhanze paramedical staff observing Helen the master trainer from Golden Eye Korea conducting a Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)  for a patient. The work is very fine and takes patience and precision. But the results was very satisfying as it looked natural and the procedure was quite comfortable.

ALl our staff at the end of a very long day conducting micropigmentation on a scalp, a vitiligo patch and 2 scars on the leg and forearm. But it was also fun!

What is Cytokines?
The term "cytokine" is derived from a combination of two Greek words - "cyto" meaning cell and "kinos" meaning movement. Cytokines are cell signalling molecules that aid cell to cell communication in immune responses and stimulate the movement of cells towards sites of inflammation, infection and trauma.

They are released mainly to stimulate an immune response when the cells detect any  foreign substances in the blood. Cytokines essentially consists of proteins, peptides, and glycoproteins. They are primarily released by immune system cells in order to initiate cell-to-cell interaction in order to generate an immune response.  For instance when white cells come into contact with pathogens(bacteria, viruses) they immediately release cytokines, which in turn communicate and activate other white blood cells to attavk the foreign invader.

This is the natural way our immune response of alerting and recruiting more numbers of White Blood Cell…

Vulvalar Whitening

Many Asian women experience a darkening of the inner thigh skin or the perineum skin as they age and especially after pregnancy. This is a very common phenomenon and can be quite unbecoming especially in a swimsuit or bikini. Sometime this darkening is due to the rubbing of inner thigh skin together due to excess fat in the thighs or a fungal infection which causes itchiness and scratching. Our new laser can now treat this area of skin. Each treatment can improve the condition by at least 20%. Because of this I usually recommend 3 sessions with each session 1 month apart. Although I must say that some women have found satisfactory outcome even after just 1 treatment.

5 Proven Methods for Permanent Fat Reduction

I have come across many clients who ask me about fat removal and they often confuse this with weightloss. Due to the many marketing ads all around us that offer"slimming" procedures, I find that many women are confused as to wether they want to loose weight or reduce fat.

So I categorize clients like this:

A. those who are overweight or obese with a BMI (Body Mass Index) of 27 an above. You will need to loose overall weight for a healthier and trimmer looking body.
There will be excess fat here and there but it is no use thinking about them when over all you have excess fat including visceral fat.
B. those who are of normal body weight (BMI 25 and below) or just slightly overweight (BMI 25-27) and have certain areas of stubborn fat which do not seem to go away despite exercise or would like a trimmer, better silhuoette.

For FAT REDUCTION on the spot , there are several methods to loose them. These can be minimally invasive or non invasive at all.

The Non-Invasive methods…
