Micropigmentation to correct and cover imperfections

On 26th Feb 2014, we had a full day training with the team from Golden Eye, a German company that produce a unique Micropigmentation equipment with its unique organic dyes.

What is Micropigmentation?

Micropigmentation  is a technique of implanting tiny pigments dye into the epidermal layer of the skin. It does not aim to change the look of a person, but instead it balances out unevenness and the asymmetry of a face. Without being obvious.

IS MICROPIGMENTATION A PERMANENT MAKEUP?

Micropigmentation is long-lasting, but we wouldnā€™t call it is not  a make-up. In paramedical micropigmentation we aim to cover the unevenness and create a more natural appearnacre   Paramedical Micropigmentation can be done for the scalp area to cover the whole bald head or for women with diffuse or thinning hair to make the top of the head look fuller and thicker.

It is also for scars anywhere on the body especially hypopigmented scars. Striae that has become silvery white and vitiligo patches that has stopped growing and changing are all ideal for treatment with micropigmentation.

I loved the fact that it can cover all these obvious discolorations on the face and neck. Also for surgical scars that are lighter then the natural skin color, micropigmentation can help to camouflage it from the surrounding skin. For areolar and nipples, turning the color to lighter tone or pinkish tone is also possible! For those after breast reconstruction surgery, it possible to create a nipple and areolar for the patient making the breasts look so much more natural and less scarred.

Our enhanze paramedical staff observing Helen the master trainer from Golden Eye Korea conducting a Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)  for a patient. The work is very fine and takes patience and precision. But the results was very satisfying as it looked natural and the procedure was quite comfortable.

Laser Vagina Rejuvenation

Our V2LR laser handpiece is finally here. Had a revision session with Prof Zerbinatti in the clinic on 3rd Jan. Imagine, for those of us who wish to "rejuvenate" ourselves can do so now with ease and painlessly. Just make an appointment with the clinic, come in 30min earlier so a topical numbing cream can be applied, and have the procedure conducted and completed in 1/2 hr,tops. What will you get ? Well, internally the lasering will "puff"up the mucosa of the vaginal wall by collagen remodeling, as well as improve sensations. Externally the procedure can lighten the skin color, increase sensitivity as well tighten surrounding area. ALl these in just 3 sessions! Prof Zerbinatti claims that in his clinic this is currently the most popular procedure among women in their 30s and 40s. I am very excited about this procedure. I know a lot of women out there do not have any problems, and therefore do not require any surgical LVR but would like to just improve. Like everyhti...

SIGNS YOU SHOULD AVOID AN INJECTOR

Recently, I was browsing through some of my favorite Facebook groups for aesthetic providers a nd I noticed something alarming. There was a glut of posts from inexperienced injectors, asking for advice on how to get best results with dermal   fillers. They werenā€™t sure whether common situations were normal  and were even asking for advice on complications. For example, one injector was concerned that her patient was experiencing swelling in her lip immediately after her appointment:   She didnā€™t have enough experience to know whether or not something had gone wrong. Or take this injector, who wasnā€™t sure whether the redness in her patient was normal:   The answer is ā€œprobably yesā€, but a more experienced provider could have achieved much gentler results with a cannula and know if there's something more serious like a blood vessel compression has occured.  A lso looks like she missed the right injection point a few times, which is not gre...

HOW TO AVOID BAD RESULTS WITH FILLERS

ā€œWhatā€™s happened to Charlotteā€™s face!?ā€ If youā€™ve been on Twitter or Reddit recently, youā€™ve probably come across lots of comments like that... Itā€™s a reference to the character Charlotte in Sex and the City . The series, which became a cultural icon 20 years ago, recently rebooted as ā€œ And Just Like That...ā€ And while all the characters have aged, Charlotte looked more different than the others... Her face was much broader, her lips were strangely flat and her cheeks are unusually full. The actress, Kristin Davis, didnā€™t look quite like herself any more. Initially, commentators wondered whether sheā€™d had plastic surgery. But it seems much more likely that sheā€™s had dermal fillers - done badly.   I know that this kind of ā€œunnaturalā€ result is a great concern for many including my clients too. Fillers are there to help ā€˜plump upā€™ areas of the face which have lost volume with age,  ā€˜fill inā€™ fine lines and wrinkle a nd give more definition to some o...
