I realised recently that our centre carries the top of range lasers and many clients do not know this. They sometimes compare prices and when they find ours to be somewhat more pricey then others , think that we are more expensive. This is not true. Our lasers are imported and are the gold standards for it's treatment range. Unfortunately though lasers have different wavelenghts to cater for different needs and any 1 laser system can only have 1 wavelenght. This makes it expensive for the client if they have multiple conditions that needs to be treated on their facial skin. For eg : acne scars with melasma and some wrinkles with facial hair. Tried out the new Oxyceuticals facial today. A full 1.5 hour session of soothing facial with hand massage which we recommend to our clients if they desire a relaxing but effective facial. Last I had my fractional CO2 with PRP done was August 2009. The effect showed maximally after 3months (90days) and lasted almost the 8months it was expected to. I loved it! My skin finally improved to waht it used to be in my twenties. After much postponing, I finally managed to have another treatment done. Just to share my day to day account of the aftermath of a fractional CO2 : Day 1 - Immediately after. Face was swollen, red and quite uncomfortable. Stings when water touches it. Facial rejuvenation by Platelet Rich plasma (PRP) addresses the soft tissues lost through aging or solar damage – and is directed at improvement of dermis, fat degenration, skin laxity, loss of skin tone and uneven skin texture. To be effective the activated and enriched plasma has to be injected into the skin and dermis by tiny and carefully directed needle jabs, much the same the way as other fillers and Botox® are delivered.
