Dermaveill Liquid Lift Filler - the new POly Lactic Acid filler

Went to San Diego USA in June to have theory and practical training for a new Poly-L-Lactic ( PLLA) filler called Dermaveill. Dermaveill is a US product produced by a new company owned by the CEO of Sculptra , another PLA filler. The studies for lipo atrophy and liquid lifting was conducted in a renowned, private medical centre in Tijuana, Mexico by DrJorge Tagle, their famous plastic & Cosmetic Surgeon. The trip was made fun by TJ, our organiser from Sunward.
On the first day we had a session on the product, it's development, it's correct usage, it's potential complications and side effects and it advantages. Dermaveill is better then Sulptra as it's molecules elliptical instead of spherical, thus making it easier to inject with less needle blockage. It also has no risk of forming nodules in the long term allowing for more superficial injection techniques.

The next day we went to Tijuana to have injection demonstration and guidance by DrTagle who has injected over 5000 patients with Dermaveill in the course of 2years! His results are really impressive with some lasting more then 2 years! Some of the faces look so different and so much more youthful.
I love this new product.

On the last day, we had to seat for an exam to ensure that all technique is correct and product is understood well. As we are the first 3 Drs in Malaysia exposed to Dermaveill PLA and will be the trainers for future Malaysian Drs.

In summary Dermaveille is a new Poly lactic acid PLA filler which after injected allows for natural reservation of collagen. Because it is in liquid form ( water base) it can be injected anywhere in the face, safely. It is beautiful for volume replacement especially for faces that has "deflated" over the years from simply aging, sagging, or loss of weight or from ill health. After injected, the final result is very natural looking making the person look more refreshed and "lifted" without the overdone look of harder fillers or the stiffness of surgery. It only need 2 sessions 1 month apart for optimal results that will last 15-18 months but patients are recommended to best do a touch up every 12 months to maintain a good collagen stimulation.

Laser Vagina Rejuvenation

Our V2LR laser handpiece is finally here. Had a revision session with Prof Zerbinatti in the clinic on 3rd Jan. Imagine, for those of us who wish to "rejuvenate" ourselves can do so now with ease and painlessly. Just make an appointment with the clinic, come in 30min earlier so a topical numbing cream can be applied, and have the procedure conducted and completed in 1/2 hr,tops. What will you get ? Well, internally the lasering will "puff"up the mucosa of the vaginal wall by collagen remodeling, as well as improve sensations. Externally the procedure can lighten the skin color, increase sensitivity as well tighten surrounding area. ALl these in just 3 sessions! Prof Zerbinatti claims that in his clinic this is currently the most popular procedure among women in their 30s and 40s. I am very excited about this procedure. I know a lot of women out there do not have any problems, and therefore do not require any surgical LVR but would like to just improve. Like everyhti...

SIGNS YOU SHOULD AVOID AN INJECTOR

Recently, I was browsing through some of my favorite Facebook groups for aesthetic providers a nd I noticed something alarming. There was a glut of posts from inexperienced injectors, asking for advice on how to get best results with dermal   fillers. They werenā€™t sure whether common situations were normal  and were even asking for advice on complications. For example, one injector was concerned that her patient was experiencing swelling in her lip immediately after her appointment:   She didnā€™t have enough experience to know whether or not something had gone wrong. Or take this injector, who wasnā€™t sure whether the redness in her patient was normal:   The answer is ā€œprobably yesā€, but a more experienced provider could have achieved much gentler results with a cannula and know if there's something more serious like a blood vessel compression has occured.  A lso looks like she missed the right injection point a few times, which is not gre...

HOW TO AVOID BAD RESULTS WITH FILLERS

ā€œWhatā€™s happened to Charlotteā€™s face!?ā€ If youā€™ve been on Twitter or Reddit recently, youā€™ve probably come across lots of comments like that... Itā€™s a reference to the character Charlotte in Sex and the City . The series, which became a cultural icon 20 years ago, recently rebooted as ā€œ And Just Like That...ā€ And while all the characters have aged, Charlotte looked more different than the others... Her face was much broader, her lips were strangely flat and her cheeks are unusually full. The actress, Kristin Davis, didnā€™t look quite like herself any more. Initially, commentators wondered whether sheā€™d had plastic surgery. But it seems much more likely that sheā€™s had dermal fillers - done badly.   I know that this kind of ā€œunnaturalā€ result is a great concern for many including my clients too. Fillers are there to help ā€˜plump upā€™ areas of the face which have lost volume with age,  ā€˜fill inā€™ fine lines and wrinkle a nd give more definition to some o...
