DR.SUTINA "Discovering Beauty with Science"

Am now on normal eating. Although the apetite to consume large ammounts of food is gone, there is an almost costant hunger I feel throughout the day. A little bite here and there is enough to make me feel satieted. My 16yr old lost 12.2kg (equiv to 26lbs) in his 3 week course. It was amazing watching his weight practically drop 1kg per day. He needs a new wardrobe now , but best of all he feels good about himself, looks incredibly fit and is able to wear all his form 2 clothes! His BMI is still at 25 (ideal for adults) so we are planning to have a 2nd course done at the end of this week after 6 weeks of rest. I am hoping we can achieve more weight(fat) loss to achieve his BMI of 22 or 23 (ideal). Another observation I noted is that his body shape has changed from a chubby teenager to a lean young man, almost as if he's been going for workouts at the gym!

We now have acquired the Z8 head for our Coolsculpting mchine whihc covers a larger area of treatment. It's effect is 2.5 times of our present smaller Z6 head and 1 treatment cycle is also 1hrs. So you get to treat 2.5 timesmore in the same duration and best of all, at a much lesser cost! had lunch with the trainer last week, and I was told that massaging the area firmly in a twisitng, 'pinching" way helps to break up the crystallized fats faster - akin to dropping a bagful of ice cubes onto the floor rel hard-the ice shatters immediately to small pieces and thus will melt faster.

Completed my training visit at Allure Medical Spa, Detroit for "endovenous laser" procedures. The procedure entails using laser technology to ablate or "burn" the varicose veins in the legs. Results are permanent with no downtime to the procedure. I saw many cases and tried my hands on a few patients under the guidance of Dr. Charles Mok, the Vascular Specialist at Allure. The staff at their Vein Centre were helpful and obliging, especially Deneen, the Ultrasound tech, and Greg the Nurse Practitioner. I was initially apprehensive with the actual procedure, but after watching Dr Mok's skilled technique as well as his staff's efficiency, I am confident that now we can have a safe, longterm nonsurgical remedy to the problem of leg veins. Finally touched down into Detroit after 20hrs of flight. What a longggg haul! Am attending a week of training for treatment of leg veins using a laser called CTEV Cool Lipo in a clinic called Allure Medical Spa under the tutorship of Dr Charles Mok and Dr Brett Kotlus. The clinic is situated in a township called Shelby Township just outside Detroit City. This is a new technique to treat large leg veins-those bluish bulging veins running down the legs, where before this would need a surgical proceudre called "Stripping".

Am in Tasmania, Australia to attend the Cosmetex 2011 Conference from 31st Mar to 2nd April. never been to Tasmania and am looking forward to do a little sightseeing before the Conference meetings. Will beattending workshops and meetings to learn new techniques and methods for Sculptra, Juvederm, Restalyne and Radiesse to use for face and off-face. Also looking forward to see if there are any new machines or equipments for our practice. The aesthetic medical industry has come full circle with technologies and en-hanze clinic has quite a coomprehensive range of almost every kind of thecnology there is but to keep us forward and growing we still need to add new equioment "member" to our ammourmentarium.
