Liposonix is the groundbreaking equipment using High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) technology to melt and destroy fat permanently without surgery. 
I was impressed with this technology as I realized many people are looking for less invasive, non surgical methods for fat reduction with no downtime and preferable minimal no of sessions. Using the same concept as TURP or focused ultrasound to blast kidney stones without surgery, liposonix focused ultrasound is thus made specific for the human fat. 

How does it work?
A handpiece applicator that transmits the high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) waves is applied onto the target area, usually the abdomen or tummy. No general or local anesthesia is required. 


1. High-intensity ultrasound energy is focused on the targeted fat. 


2. The skin is not harmed as fat tissue beneath the skin is permanently destroyed.

3. The body then naturally removed the treated fat, leaving you with a thinner waistline.

Spots of melted fat 2 inches below skin surface. 


Results are seen as early as 2 weeks after but usually 4-8weeks later due to time it takes for drainage of the melted fat and skin retraction to occur. 

The results , if conducted with enough "shots" and ultrasound energy delivered can be as good as or sometimes even better then liposuction or surgical liposculpture. 

It is definitely exciting to have new technologies and techniques.
