Heavy Metals in our Bodies

I recently attended a seminar on Heavy Metal Toxicity (HMT) organised by the Society of Advancement of Hormones and Healthy Aging Medicine Malaysia (SAHHAMM) and conducted by ACNEM with Dr Karel Hromek, a very experienced physician from Australia and a "guru" for Environmental and Nutritional Medicine. I had heard from patients about their remarkable treatment successes and  wanted to know more about how this amazing therapeutic arm works. Over the 2 day training session, I learnt more then I bargained for, got very excited about its whole potential and even sat for the certification exam at the end!
So what is heavy metals and how does one get them?  Heavy Metals (HM) are Lead(Pb), Mercury, Arsenic, Cadmium, Aluminium, Copper and Iron. Excess exposure to these metals causes its toxicity but the symptoms associated with the slow accumulation of these toxic metals are multiple and non-specific therefore effects may not appear until later in life. Chronic, low level exposure to these toxic heavy metals has become a global problem and we need to be aware of the symptoms in order to do something about it. Symptoms include :
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle pains
  • Impaired Attention span/concentration
  • Poor Short term memory
  • Headaches
  • Constipation
  • Indigestion
  • Insomnia
  • Paresthesia (fingers/toes/lips)
  • Hypertension
  • Joint pains
  • Garlic breath

To treat these toxicity and to reduce these heavy metals in the body, it is important to first identify which metal is present in our body. Most common metal toxicity is Lead (Plumbum) and Mercury. Once the toxic metal identification has been done, elimination is carried out through elimination of food allergies, vitamin therapies (B1,B3,B6,Vit c,Vit E, EFAs), Trace Mineral therapies (Zinc, Magnesium, Manganese, Selenium) , Homeopathic remedies, Glutathione organ detoxification, and drainage remedies as well as Chelation Therapy.
CHELATION THERAPY is an intravenous treatment aimed at removing heavy metals, controlling lipids, reducing calcium deposits and treat arteriosclerosis. Chelation process is necessary for life. It has a profound cardiovascular and ANTI AGING benefit. Studies have shown there is a 90% reduction in cancer mortality after EDTA Chelation. EDTA Chelation Therapy is also an effective treatment for the following diseases :
  • Cardiovascular diseases
  • High blood pressure
  • High Cholesterol levels
  • Poor Blood circulation
  • Diabetes and complic.
  • Psoriasis
  • Heavy metal overload
  • Kidney Stones
  • Vertigo
  • Arthritis
  • Tinntus
After chelation, patients feel :
  • an improved  sense of wellbeing,
  • increased ability to exercise,
  • improved hearing, improved eyesight,
  • improved memory,
  • improved sexual function,
  • increased energy,
  • increased strenght,
  • better sleep,
  • improved skin texture,
  • reduce brown skin spots,
  • restore hair discoloration.
I shall now start Chelation on myself and my family members first and hopefully I can get some of the benefits mentioned above if not all! My journey to better health, better memory, better skin now begins.....

Laser Vagina Rejuvenation

Our V2LR laser handpiece is finally here. Had a revision session with Prof Zerbinatti in the clinic on 3rd Jan. Imagine, for those of us who wish to "rejuvenate" ourselves can do so now with ease and painlessly. Just make an appointment with the clinic, come in 30min earlier so a topical numbing cream can be applied, and have the procedure conducted and completed in 1/2 hr,tops. What will you get ? Well, internally the lasering will "puff"up the mucosa of the vaginal wall by collagen remodeling, as well as improve sensations. Externally the procedure can lighten the skin color, increase sensitivity as well tighten surrounding area. ALl these in just 3 sessions! Prof Zerbinatti claims that in his clinic this is currently the most popular procedure among women in their 30s and 40s. I am very excited about this procedure. I know a lot of women out there do not have any problems, and therefore do not require any surgical LVR but would like to just improve. Like everyhti...

SIGNS YOU SHOULD AVOID AN INJECTOR

Recently, I was browsing through some of my favorite Facebook groups for aesthetic providers a nd I noticed something alarming. There was a glut of posts from inexperienced injectors, asking for advice on how to get best results with dermal   fillers. They werenā€™t sure whether common situations were normal  and were even asking for advice on complications. For example, one injector was concerned that her patient was experiencing swelling in her lip immediately after her appointment:   She didnā€™t have enough experience to know whether or not something had gone wrong. Or take this injector, who wasnā€™t sure whether the redness in her patient was normal:   The answer is ā€œprobably yesā€, but a more experienced provider could have achieved much gentler results with a cannula and know if there's something more serious like a blood vessel compression has occured.  A lso looks like she missed the right injection point a few times, which is not gre...

HOW TO AVOID BAD RESULTS WITH FILLERS

ā€œWhatā€™s happened to Charlotteā€™s face!?ā€ If youā€™ve been on Twitter or Reddit recently, youā€™ve probably come across lots of comments like that... Itā€™s a reference to the character Charlotte in Sex and the City . The series, which became a cultural icon 20 years ago, recently rebooted as ā€œ And Just Like That...ā€ And while all the characters have aged, Charlotte looked more different than the others... Her face was much broader, her lips were strangely flat and her cheeks are unusually full. The actress, Kristin Davis, didnā€™t look quite like herself any more. Initially, commentators wondered whether sheā€™d had plastic surgery. But it seems much more likely that sheā€™s had dermal fillers - done badly.   I know that this kind of ā€œunnaturalā€ result is a great concern for many including my clients too. Fillers are there to help ā€˜plump upā€™ areas of the face which have lost volume with age,  ā€˜fill inā€™ fine lines and wrinkle a nd give more definition to some o...
